District Conference

The annual Rotary District Conference was held at the Grand Geneva resort in Lake Geneva, WI. on April 30 - May 2.  Our club was represented by President Jim Saul, President Elect Buzz Janis, Immediate Past President Dave Cain, and Youth Exchange Student Rachel Cain.

It was announced at the District Conference that Rotary International has added a 5th Avenue of Service - Service to Youth.  This is in addition to the traditional 4 Avenues of Service that Rotary has had - Club, Community, International and Vocational.  Also, RI approved the establishment of eClubs to allow people to meet and makeup online. 

At the end of the conference, Rachel met the incoming District Governor.
